1. Local Network Data Streaming (Zero Cloud)
HomeCam operates strictly as an offline-first local security camera. All live video and audio streaming occurs entirely within your local Wi-Fi or Hotspot network. No video feeds, microphone recordings, or CCTV footage are ever uploaded, processed, or saved on central servers or external cloud providers.
2. Third-Party Telemetry & Analytics
To improve app performance and stability, we integrate industry-standard third-party SDKs:
- AdMob (Google Ads): Delivers non-intrusive ads. AdMob may process advertising IDs (AAID) for ad frequency capping and analytics.
- Firebase Analytics: Collects aggregated, anonymous app feature usage metrics to optimize UI workflows.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymous crash logs and hardware stack traces to quickly fix crashes.
3. Local On-Device AI Processing
HomeCam runs on-device Google ML Kit models to perform motion and face detection. Audio decibel RMS sampling runs strictly on local device memory. No images or audio samples leave your hardware.
